Why reflect with Erin?

REFLECTIVE CONVERSATIONS FOR TRANSFORMATIVE PRACTICE

Erin has completed accreditation as a Professional Supervisor and is a member of the Australasian Association of Supervision. She is committed to creating warm and safe environments for deeply reflective conversations. Over two decades, Erin has worked in large, multi-staff organisations and has a unique capacity to understand systems and the people working within them. Erin brings a rich perspective to Professional Supervision, drawing from her Master of Leadership and Bachelor of Education. Her experience on the Boards of both Tertiary and multi-school organisations informs her understanding of systems and contexts. Erin is invited as a consultant in strategically focused conversations around personal and organisational growth, mission and transformation.

Erin’s undergraduate studies in Theatre and Theology set the foundation for her curiosity for stories and narrative threads. Erin has the ability to hear and translate nuance in vocal intonation, word selection and the repeated ideas, concepts and images weaved into reflective conversations which help the Supervisee to make illuminating connections. Combined with her understanding of body language and how a Supervisee communicates through body, space and breath, Erin brings an emotional presence to Supervision that unlocks insightful learning.

With 15 years of experience in the Education sector, Erin is acutely aware of the invisible emotional labour connected to the work of Education, Ministry and other helping professions. In her reflective conversations, she helps Supervisees see how systems and context shape and guide thinking and practical reactivity. Practitioners working in helping roles will benefit from the relationally warm and confidential space Erin creates, allowing them to reflect thoughtfully on decision-making within a structured framework. Erin is dynamic and empathetic, and communicates with great openness and authenticity. As a Supervisor, she is skilled at using creative prompts to help Supervisees unlock and articulate ideas, feelings and questions. Erin understands the impact of poor work cultures and is passionate about seeing leaders and stakeholders think well.
